[mythtv-users] pvr-350 / ivtv crashes when setting a program to record

Hello all,

I've been following Jarod's Fedora install on a Pundit box with a single PVR-350
(thx Jarod!). LiveTV and the EPG both work fine.  

When I set a future program to record, the LiveTV feed goes black.  I would
expect this if I was trying to set channel to record at the same time I was
watching something else (given that I only have 1 capture card), but this
happens when I try to record a future program too.

It seems that ivtv crashes.  In order to get LiveTV working again I need to shut
down mythfrontend, and run the following 4 lines from Jarod's instructions:

# /usr/lib/ivtv/test_ioctl -u 0x3000
# /usr/lib/ivtv/test_ioctl -p 4
# /usr/lib/ivtv/test_ioctl -f width=720,height=480
# /usr/lib/ivtv/test_ioctl -v input=3,output=1

This may be a clue: mythfrontend does not work on a reboot unless I enter the
same four lines.  Is this supposed to be in a config somewhere?
