[mythtv-users] mythtv cvs question

The previous time I co mythtv from cvs I came to find out later there were some files missing.  It wasn't until I went to compile native lirc that I made the discovery.  So being new to cvs and oh ...to linux, is this generally the deal with cvs co's?  I had to download the source file and then update my myth directory.
