[mythtv-users] no audio ... continued

Hi,

I seem unable to get audio from MythTV.

xawtv, kmix, alsa, etc etc all work just fine.

I know that m-tv samples before playback and has to be able to digitize input.

I have had the suggestion to use a patch cable from tv card to line in however 
my TV card has NO external connection for audio.   So I am stuck here and 
need new suggestions ...

I was also wondering what makes m-tv so different to ALL other applications 
(that also record and digitize etc).  I
