I could try :)  I really don't know much about patches, and unless the 
patch matches the version of the kernel I'm using perfectly, I don't 
know how to do it.  The only time I've ever been able to apply a patch 
is when I have a patch for a given vanilla version of the kernel, say, 
2.4.22 for example, and run the command 'patch -p1 < file-2.4.22.patch'  
I'll try it though and let you know how it goes.
