[mythtv-users] PVR 250's OEM on ebay for $88

I thought the 250 had the decoder, but not the encoder like the 350? That's
the major difference isn't it? Is the encoder really worth the extra $100?
I know the 350 sells for a good chunk more than the 250....

Actually, the 250's on eBay are more akin to the 350's, just without TV Out
and a remote connection. The only other difference is that the 250 Freestyle
(what's selling on eBay, aka 250 Rev. 1) has a full composite/stereo A/V
input with standard RCA connectors, and the full 350 does not. The Freestyle
actually has the decoder like the 350 does, just no TV Out.
