I would try:
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -u mythtv

the "accept_keywords" thing just tells portage to use the testing 
packages. Sometime the 0.13 packages will be deemed stable, and the 
"accept_keywords" thing will no longer be necessary.
