I think Tribune have a list of different categories (and sub categories)
they use for for each program - I know that TiVo has, and like zap2it
(which is where the EPG data comes from), they use TMS as their data
source. Of course, I don't know enough about the Myth EPG Database yet
to know if it's possible to store all the info in there.

Mythweb allows this, it's pretty neat. It would be nice to be able to
add more categories that just 'Movie' as pre-defined searches. It would
also be nice to change 'Movie' to 'Film' for those in the UK without
hacking the mythweb code! Not dissing mythweb though, it rocks!

I agree that a category search would be great within mythtv itself.
