[mythtv-users] Migrating from one box to another?

I had setup a "proof of concept" machine on an old Dell Dimension P-III 933
I had laying around and all went well (except TV-Out, but I'll fix that
later...I hope!)...and now I built a new HTPC type machine (Celeron 2Ghz
blah blah blah).

My question is this: Is there an easy way to migrate from one backend
server (with @ 30 recordings) to another one? I need to move the data and
the recordings as well. Nothing else...no music...no photos...no games.
Just crap I recorded. I'm assuming I just have to copy the data from one
mySQL Database to the other and copy the files over. Are there any steps
I'm missing here?

Since I'm pretty clueless how to use mySQL to get data from one box to
another....I'm just going to use mySQL Control Center on my XP Machine to
manually copy the data from the recordings table. I just want to make sure
this is really as simple as it sounds before I attempt it ;-)

I did a quick search of the Mailing List archive and did find a few pieces
of information about the myth.rebuilddatabase.pl script. That would work,
except I would have to manually re-title and sub-title all my recordings.
Not a huge task, but I would have to write down which is which ahead of time
to do this. Which would be a PITA.

I guess I was wondering if there was a script out there that will actually
seek out the title/subtitle using XMLTV based on the channel and start/end
time. I may be smoking the crap pipe here....but it's at least worth asking
;-)
