This is my uptime for the backend (0.14 on Fedora Core)

22:50:34  up 20 days, 23:53,  1 user,  load average: 0.04, 0.01, 0.00

The backend is a dual PIII-550 MHz with 512 Mb RAM (Gigabyte board) with 
a Mentor BT878 card.
Since I split up the back and frontend the system ran much more stable 
than before, after upgrading to 0.14 it improved even further.
I'm running two frontends (Asus Pundit and Intel Dotstation) which run 
happily for hours and hours. They were initially set up with KnoppMyth 
(0.12) but have been manually upgraded to Myth 0.14 .
The Dot.station is in my bedroom and I normally fall asleep while the 
thing is playing music, watching live TV or recordings. At the morning 
wakeup call of my alarm clock it is still running fine.

The only thing I can't seem to get stable is the xmltv part but I blame 
that on tvgids.nl being so buggy (due to adservers being terribly slow 
in response)

Can only say aye to that, the backend was setup with Jarod's guide.

One feature I would like to see in newer versions of MythMusic is:
when you select '5' during playback, the screen goes black but I would 
like to see that the monitor is put to sleep/standby then.

But overall a standby/sleep timer function would be nice. Shame that the 
Dot.Station doesn't switch off when halted (seems the kernel chokes on 
the APM/ACPI shutdown part) Still, when I select 'exit and shutdown' the 
harddisk is spun-down, the monitor goes to sleep eventually but the 
board keeps running.
