[mythtv-users] Whizzy sound

I've configured MythTV to have sound output via /dev/dsp

btaudio sound from my Hauppage card is collected from /dev/dsp2

When watching live TV it appears that video is being cached in several-second 
chunks then replayed super-fast. Pause (for recache) then super-fast 
sound/video. Repeat.

Anyone know why this is happening? It's only started since I directed MythTV 
to collect from /dev/dsp2 (bt848 card via btaudio.) If I use a null device 
instead, video replays at normal rate.
