[mythtv-users] gentoo cvs ebuilds

Hi,

I have just installed mythtv on gentoo using the 0.14 ebuilds and get
the following error when I try to run mythfrontend:

2004-02-20 19:57:24 Connecting to backend server: 192.168.1.9:6543 (try 1 of 5)
2004-02-20 19:57:32 ReadStringList timeout (quick).
2004-02-20 19:57:32 Unexpected response to MYTH_PROTO_VERSION:

I have found others with this problem an a note from Isaac to use CVS to
fix it.  Is this correct?

However, I also find this in the archives:

 "At Request of Isaac all cvs ebuilds are removed."

My question is, why are the cvs ebuilds removed when they are apparently
needed to fix a problem with the .14 code on gentoo?

Can anyone send me the mythtv-cvs ebuilds?
