[mythtv-users] Help needed: Getting only static from tuner

I have an AverMedia M179 (similar to 250) that also gives me only static 
on the tuner input, even using ptune.pl.  Also, on composite input there 
are odd pink diagonal bands, and I need to reload the ivtv module after 
every time I access /dev/video.  In other words, it's pretty flakey if 
you ask me.

So I'm sticking with my old ATI TV Wonder for now.
