[mythtv-users] MythMusic without CD/DVD ?

Yes it should be just fine.  I took my entire MP3 collection (about 8 gigs) and transferred them to my mythbox via Samba and everything worked just fine.  The only thing you'd need the CD/DVD drive for is if you wanted to play live or rip the Cd's on your mythbox.

I've been planning to build my box without a CD/DVD drive.

I'm wondering if MythMusic is still useable as just an MP3 
player/library manager with this configuration.

I've been scanning the docs & it looks like a lot of the 
functionality is oriented toward cd ripping + freedb lookups.
