Capture and output are independent of one another. If the machine is a
frontend only, then no, you don't need a capture card. Onboard SVideo out
will do the trick (but works best w/the mpeg2 decoder enabled, and mpeg2
capture cards in the backend machine). This has all been discussed quite a
bit in the past, please search the mailing list archive for further info.
