[mythtv-users] rpm or apt version with dvb already compiled??

Hi
I was wondering whether there is a way of installing Mythtv from rpm or 
using Apt that will already have dvb support. I have been trying to get 
dvb to work from both current and cvs source for nearly six weeks and i 
am nearly about to give up and revert to the dreaded windows and use 
show-shifter. But i really dont want to do that. Please tell me there 
is hope ahead??
