It's quite possible that I broke things wrt to the viaslice decoder with some 
recent changes to the OSD compositing, though I did test in XvMC mode (uses 
the same routines as the viaslice decoder).  It'll be up to someone else to 
fix it, however, as I no longer use the viaslice decoder.
