[mythtv-users] NUVImport?

Here's (hopefully) a new one.

Does anyone know how to convert an xvid avid into a nuv file, I converted
some Enterprise episodes to avi's with mencoder. However I've now lost the
original nuv file and would like to re-encode it so I can get it with the
rest of the seasons programs.

All I could find in the gossamer threads are posts for the opposite
direction, I suppose I could watch it with mythvideo, record that on video
tape, then re-record the video tape with mythtv, but god only knows how that
would turn out!!
