Figured out my problem.  Both the hauppaugegrey and rs16-2116 defs available for
download do nothing to restrict keypresses to only that particular remote.

Thus until I put remote = hauppaugegrey and remote = rs15-2116-blahblah
everywhere, some keys were getting duplicate presses.  Once I restricted each
definition to only that particular remote, everything works fine.

Time to watch Stargate SG-1.  :)
