Why don't you just change your subscription options so you just receive a
daily digest - one email with all mails from the day. That usually works
quite well.

If you use Mozilla Thunderbird you can use a combination of message rules
(to put the list in it's own folder) and threaded viewing (think web board)
to make the list MUCH more manageable.
