You have mythtv running on Yellow Dog? :)

I don't think crosscompiling across architecture families will be an
easy task. Better to build on the architecture and have the build
system ported to it.

Or did you mean MacOS <-> YDL? I suppose that should be possible with
creating chroots under MacOS.
