[mythtv-users] mythbackend failure

For some reason, I had to reboot my machine this evening.  When the box came
back up it was unable to connect to the backend service.

 

When I do a status check I get this:

mythbackend dead but subsys locked

 

It is this way even after a reboot.

 

If I kill the file in /var/lock. and /var/run I can get it to say that
mythbackend is stopped but I can not get it to start anymore.

 

What have I done?
