I knew if I put a wrong number in somewhere I would get a response. :-)
Thank you, I did mean 4363.

I would have thought so too. When I installed the newest driver it told me
that nvidia-kernel was a dependency of nvidia-glx, but not the other way
around. So when I went backwards I did nvidia-kernel and forgot to do the
nvidia-glx.

At the moment, I don't care about overscan. I just want a picture on my
screen.

This is the first I have read about nvtv being helpful for my needs. I am
scanning the archives to see if this will help.
