[mythtv-users] stutter

I have a strange problem.  When I play music it skips and stutters.  I 
can't seem to figure out why.


Here are my specs:
Celeron 1.2
256M ram
2.6.1 kernel
Myth 1.4
Alsa Drivers built into the kernel
M-Audio Envy24 Sond Card.

Note:  I have the sound output device set to "/dev/dsp". I tried 
setting it to "ALSA:default", but got no sound out.

Does anybody have a clue what this would be skipping?
