At the bottom of the delete recordings screen, there is a "progress bar"
that shows the amount of space used/left on the disk designated for myth
(/video if you used Jarod's guide). It also shows a percentage of used
space

This would be great. Use MythTVOSD to display a note on the screen that
"Blah Blah Blah is about to record on channel XX for the next YY minutes
using Tuner Z". And if you missed that, it could also show up if you hit
info, and then info again while the OSD was still on. Ex: "Tuner 0 Status:
Recording 'ER: Get Carter' 9:59p - 11:00p Channel 10" or "Tuner 0 Status:
Available"

This is available already. In MythGame, when you select a system and it's
in the left pane, press M (or is it E?) to edit the default options for the
emulator. The last page of the options is a custom command line string. You
can also set these on a per-game basis by repeating this step when a game
is selected in the right pane.
