We have a relatively large house. The A/V system is all in our family
room downstairs. The room gets used for nothing but exercise, movies
and TV (and usually watching something while exercising), so its
domination of the room is only fitting.
Also, we were renting a small house before buying our current place,
which is about 3x the size of the place we were renting, so we had some
extra room(s) to fill. She was probably still suffering from the
effects of euphoria from buying the new house when she let me get
whatever I wanted to fill it up. She loves the whole A/V setup too
though. ;-)

I've finally got a second one upstairs in the living room, where we
just have a (relatively) little 27" analog set. That picture is far
less impressive, especially with all the kids toys and books cluttered
around and on it... =)
