[mythtv-users] Hard lockups when viewing Live TV or recorded TV PVR-250 ATI Radeon 7000.

After trying an ATI Radeon 9250, gatos drivers, ATI's own drivers, etc. 
I finally solved the problem: I returned both cards and bought an 
nVidia based card.  This one:

It was also cheaper and had rebates.

Unfortunately all the time I wasted on the ATI cards is gone.
