This card uses the LSI DVxplore chipset to do MPEG compression.  This is 
different from any other supported MPEG compression card I am aware of (all 
others use iTVc15/16).  There is no support for Linux currently AFAIK, but I 
did see mention of a Linux SDK for the truly adventurous (not sure if there 
is an associated NDA either).  HTH!
