[mythtv-users] lircd troubles

Sorry, forgot to include the kernel versions in the last post!

I am having some major issues with getting lircd to work. I know this
is not an lirc list, but maybe some guru can help me.   I have a Lola
X-10 remote, and have had it working in the past using a different
kernel (2.4.22-1.2179.nptl_47.rhfc1.at) but upgraded to
(2.4.22-1.2199.nptl_52.rhfc1.at) from axel's repository.  Now when I
start
up lircd and do irw to try and get test keystokes, irw will close
after one keystroke and say connection refused when I attempt irw
again.  I see this in my /var/log/messages:
