I think the only thing that hasn't been mentioned
about the PVR-350 is its ability to properly play back
its interlaced MPEG2 recordings through its interlaced
video out. This lets it play back things like live
shows and sports without affecting their original
"look" (beyond whatever quality hit you take from the
MPEG2 encoding).

Any other TV-out solution pretty much requires that
you deinterlace the recording to avoid interlacing
artifacts, which will affect both the look of the
recording as well as take up even more CPU time.

The inability to play back other files is a drawback,
but if all you're trying to do with your MythTV box is
TiVo-like recording and playback, playing back video
fields properly is a big plus for the 350.
