[mythtv-users] Does this CVS command fetch the *current* version?

As it happens, I *am* now running the 0528 version... but it would sure
be nice if CVS provided a way to pick out the CVS date/tag and plug it
into your sources so runtime could identify it.

But, if memory serves, I'm not the first once to say that.  :-)
