Ok, I tried it and it is also having problems with this CD, I am getting
a bunch of errors on some tracks and the whole process becomes very,
very, very slow. So, from MythTV I was just observing a slow down
without any explanation.

I still don't know what is the source of the problem, bad tracks?
Scratched CD? Anyway, cdparanoia is reporting something like:

007: Unknown, unrecoverable error reading data

Maybe the ripping utility with Mythmusic should handle this kind of
errors and stop the process with a message to the user?
