[mythtv-users] can't get live tv

Hi All,

I know that it is bad etiquette to reply to one's own post with no replies 
from others, however I wanted to add to the information that I had there.

I can watch tv with tvtime and xawtv and can not do either #cat /dev/video0 
 > temp.mpg
Or aplay /dev/dsp

For the video portion, I get an input/output error. I have straced and the 
error that comes up at the end is this:

write(2, ": Input/output error", 20: Input/output error)    = 20
write(2, "\n", 1

For the sound, there simply is no sound with line muted and rec on. The logs 
show no errors that are noticable. Maybe I am missing something.
