A webpage having ads verses selling things for a personal profit on a user
group / message board / mailing list is totally different.

I hardly think this is a problem.  The guy has something this list is
focused on.  It's not like he's a pr0n spammer. In fact fishcounts.com
has ad's on it...is that a problem for fisherman?
