[mythtv-users] Changing channel on Digital Cable Box

I am having trouble getting myth to change the channel on my Motorola 
DCT-2244 cable box. If I run the "channel" program manually, i.e. 
"channel 5", the cable box will change to channel 5. When I put it in 
the settings for the input for myth to run "channel" or 
"/usr/local/bin/channel" (where i placed the binary), no channel 
changing occurs when the channel is changed in myth, but I can still 
run either of the commands successfully via the command line. Thanks
