[mythtv-users] Commercial Blocker?

Two things at play here.  Yes, the commercial flagger is very good, but
depending on the detection method it doesn't handle shows with fade to
blacks very well (think Alias, West Wing), but does brilliantly on bright
shows (American Chopper, Car and Driver TV, stuff like that).  In fact its
near perfect.  You just load the cut list and it happily skips over them and
you're right back in to the show.

The other option is hitting the 30 second FFW key about 8 times, and it
goes, skp skip skip and you're back to your show too.

Either way, you don't need to watch them if you don't want to.
