[mythtv-users] PUNDIT spdif optical sound

Hi,

Has anybody found a solution on how to use the SPDIF connector on the
front panel of the pundit and keep front paneldoor closed?
It's stupid when you buy a nice looking case for the livingroom with all
the connectors behind a panel when that panel has to be open all the time.

The only solution i see at the moment to use the digital output is
drilling holes.

Is anybody using the rear (stereo-jack) connectors for 5.1 sound? I read
somewhere that it is possible to use line-out en line-in both as output
and that would also enable surround sound.

Any help would be welcome.
