I second Christian's recommendation of Martin Smith's DVB/Myth how-to.
Depending on the DVB card you have, you may also want to check out the
DVB-T Owners Discussion Forum at:-
http://robdvd.radfiles.net/
which has an Australian focus. It used to be the VisionPlus owners
forum, but has been expanded to cover the other cards now available in
this market.
In terms of a lightweight frontend, I'm running minimyth
(http://linpvr.org) on a diskless Via EPIA M1000 board. It has its pros
and cons, but over all, I'm quite happy with it. The forum at linpvr.org
is a good starting place for this.
Cheers,
Jon

Subject: [mythtv-users] simple howto from woe to go with DVB card
Dear all,
I am wondering if there is a simple guide to getting mythtv working with
a dvb-t card? I do not have a full featured dvb card or pvr card.
I am in Sydney Australia.
I have been using showshifter on winxp to record analogue TV. Want to
shift to LINUX based systems with clearly defined backend recording
devices(s) and a light weight front end device.
Pointers to FAQs, HOWTOs would be appreciated.
Regards,
Michael Homsey
