Michael,
I agree with this. There are a couple of problems that we may need to resolve:
1) Ensuring that we don't get into trouble with licensing and contracts.
2) having enough people to really spread the load around. I have an ADSL
connection and would be happy to host part of this but my bandwith wouldn't cope
with 50,000 people downloading the xml files all at 04:00 in the morning!
It may be that bleb.org actually constructs the XML files out of a DB to be
returned each time, I thought that this would be inefficient since we could
generate the entire XML ech day, but I don't know how it's setup either.
Who needs to approach Andrew about this?
