[mythtv-users] Separate frontend and backend

Hello,
I have had my Myth system running GREAT in my livving room with 2 capture
cards.

Right now I want to put a frontend in my bedroom, and use the capture
cards in the living room. I am testing this now on my laptop (want to make
sure I will have enough bandwidth in my wireless connection).

I have myth installed, and can run both the frontend, and the backend.
However, when I hit "Watch TV" I get a blank screen, and the backend shows
a repeating error, "Unknown encoder: 2". I figure this is the master
backend (living room) telling the laptop, "use encoder 2", but my system
is saying "what the heck is encoder 2???".

In the mythtvsetup I figure I have to add the capture devices for the
master backend? But I have no idea how to do that! - Believe it or not I
HAV E been searching for the answer, but have not found it.

Any help is appreciated.
