[mythtv-users] Linux machine running mythtv is freezing up allthe time

Would this affect mythfrontend stability? My system is ROCK stable
except the frontend which hangs/crashes quite frequently. It have heard
a bunch that it is due to the IVTV drivers but the frontend hangs during
menu surfing and video playback (neither use IVTV drivers correct?).

Hello,

Recompile your kernel, disable APIC and local APIC(you'll need to 
disable SMP to see this option).
