First of all, Thanks to all who have contributed to this project.
This is my first month playing with Myth and I have been able to find
many answers to
my issues by searching the archives, but this one problem is really
eluding me.
My System:
I am using the latest CVS as of April 14th 2004
P4 1.7Ghz ECS P4S5A+
40 GB drive for OS
200 GB drive for storage
256 MB Ram
PVR-250
SB Live
The Problem can be reproduced two ways:
I can pause the LiveTV buffer and allow it to fill to 100% (my maximum
is set to 3GB).
As expected the TV will start playing once the buffer is full (even
though I paused it).
If I press the rewind key even once, the whole frontend will lockup for
approx 5 minutes.
After this time period I can regain control.
I also reproduced the problem by pausing LiveTV right before I went to
bed.
When I woke up the next morning I tried to fast forward, the same sort
of frontend lockup occurred.
In this circumstance I got some feedback from the frontend.

I have seen discussions I believe are related to this problem from Dec,
2003.
I would be interested in helping debug this, is it likely a problem in
the RingBuffer code?
Thanks, Mike.
