I want to thank for all the answers I received. Unfortunately it seems that my BIOS doesn't have an option for making a S-ATA looking like a P-ATA (which would have been nice) so I'll give a try to the other suggestion (hooking a second hard disk...) I'll let you know how it goes... Franco
