[mythtv-users] Smallest, cheapest case?

I have the same case. The only problem is it comes with a cheap, noisy
power supply. It crapped out on my after only a week, started sparking
and smoking. And when I replaced it with an Enermax I had to cut out a
support bar that runs through the middle, just to get it to fit. One
nice thing about it, though, is I was able to snake the IR cable from
the PVR-350 through a spare slot in the back and hide it behind the
grill in the front. I just positioned it so that the receiver was
peaking out through one of the tiny holes. Works like a charm and it's
completely invisible. If you don't mind case modding it might not be a
bad box, but don't expect it to necessarily be cheap, in the long run.

Cheap?? How does $30 sound?
I have one of these Powmax MicroATX cases:

a=1
I put a Chaintech 7NIF2 board in it, 40GB and 200GB hard drives, a
capture card and a sound card. I've had no problems with it. I put in
two extra 60mm case fans to help with cooling. Not the quietest thing
in the world, but it's small, cheap, and looks good sitting in the
entertainment center on top of the DVD player.
I'm running both a frontend and backend on this machine under Mandrake
9.2. Solid as a rock. Just trying to get my remote control working
now.
