[mythtv-users] How to Setup ATI Remote Wonder on Frontend?

Hello All,

Let me first thank everyone for their help, it is very rare that I ever have to look any farther than the message archive to find any answers I am looking for.

Hope you can help with this issue.

I use Jarod's guide to setup my Frontend:
AMD 1gig
Chaintech GF4mx w. tv out
Msi mobo (VIA chipset)
(more info on request)

and I would like to use the ATI USB Remote wonder to control myth.

I used this link to try the setup:
(Follow Jarods guide up until the LIRC section)
then this guide

(Using Kernel: 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl_37.rhfc1.at)
I dowload latest LIRC CVS
then 
# ./autogen
# ./configure 
Select driver:atiusb
Then Save configuration & run configureHowever when I try to do a "make" I recieve the following error:

The present kernel configuration has modules disabled.
Type 'make config' and enable loadable module support.
Then build a kernel with module support enabled.

I am soooo close to being done =(

Any help would be greatly appreciated
