[mythtv-users] Recording from PVR-250 S-Video Input

Has anyone had any luck using the S-Video as input on the PVR-250 ?  I can
capture from the command line successfully (using -p6 as the test_ioctl
setting), but have had no luck getting Myth to use it even after changing the
settings in mythsetup.

Does the backend need to be restarted after any changes to the card inputs (ie
changing a source binding from composite4 to s-video0) ?  Asked another way,
does the backend "cache" source/card information or does it re-read it from the
database for every event (channel change, record, etc.) ?
