I've looked at Xine:s documentation (which is kinda coinfusing :) ), the
man pages, and the .xine/config file... all I find are postprocess plugins
that work on the decoded image. What I'm looking for is software scaler
methods, or preprocess plugins, or whatever they're called.
I've tried increasing ffmpeg:s post-processing quality, playing with the
deinterlacing options, and generally trying to get some effect from
postprocessing, but while the image gets smoother, the blocks and blurs
are still there. :(
