[mythtv-users] Yikes!!! MythTV launched, but the interface never comes up!

Ummmm. . .

   I've been messing with the frequency settings in XF86Config, and I 
have not touched anything else on the system since the last good boot. 
When MythTv launches, I just get a blank graphic background. Nothing 
else. No buttons or anything, just a bog could image (I'm using that 
"cloud" skin".

   mythbackend is running, and the mySQL database is also running. In 
fact, I can see the web schedule on my Mac with a browser.

   I don't know what's wrong here. Any ideas are appreciated.
