[mythtv-users] myth on a plasma screen, via VGA output

I run in 16:9 on a projector.  As for correct  display it depends on
several things.  First, myth has some support for 16:9 vs 4:3.  It's not
perfect yet as far as I have tested..  There has been quite a bit of
talk lately on this and what is broken and what needs to be fixed.  As
for DVD viewing, it depends on the player you are using.  I use xine,
and in xine you can select between 4:3, 16:9 and anamorphic (Real
theater widescreen).  

As for the right resolution and refresh rate, check www.sllug.org and on
the main page there is a link to a how-to, read the video card section
and read tht page.
