  I think I'm at the point were that would help.  I'm pretty sure that it's
something to do with xv, but I'm not sure what at this point.  xvinfo shows
me that it's loading, but I'm not sure what I should be seeing there.  Could
you send me the output of your "xvinfo" and "v4lctl list" commands, and your
XF86Config-4 file?  I'm not sure what I'm looking for at this point, just
some clues.  Also, do you have the "CONFIG_FBCON_ADVANCED" and
"CONFIG_FBCON_CFB24" (etc) options set in your kernels?  I did have them set
but was getting mtrr errors that I thought corresponded to them, and indeed
the mtrr errors went away when I removed them from my config... but I'm
wondering if those options are required.
