[mythtv-users] Recording problems

I have no problems with live-tv, but when I try to record something, MythTV
0.11 behaves strange. Instant recording causes the X server to end
immediately, I'm back at the command line. Scheduled recording often causes
MythTV to freeze the GUI, no further action possible. But, mythbackend still
works and all recordings are performed. After restarting X, I can watch the
recorded program. Any ideas?
